Coffee is our reason for being and sourcing great coffee is one of the most exciting things we do.
We continue to travel extensively meeting new farmers and cooperative managers and assesing their suitability for incorporation into our customers coffees. Over the years we have developed freindships with many farmers, some of our most important relationships include Michael Gherken on the Blackburn Estate in Tanzania, Miguel Menendez in El Salvador & Ernsto Menendez (no relation) also in El Salvador.
Sourcing includes understanding how a coffee farm works, its values, sustainability, relationships with workers and, importantly, understanding how they produce consistently great quality coffee. |

The finest single origin coffees are sold as our retail brand - Grumpy Mule.
We blend fine espresso coffees, many are Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance and Organically certified.
